Yemi Akinsanya is a CPA with over 20 years of accounting and tax experience. He works with entrepreneurs and small technology businesses to streamline their accounting back-office operations and maximize tax efficiencies. Yemi and his team help their clients turn the chaos of accounting into an orderly and value-add process, so they can have access to accurate and meaningful financial information for a successful business operation.
Prior to Harvest Accounting Solutions, Yemi started his career in public accounting with a national accounting firm. His corporate accounting experience includes several years of overseeing domestic and international accounting operations for a fortune 500 company and an international EdTech company.

Yemi has worked on the successful development of accounting policies and procedures, systems integrations, and optimization of accounting and payroll functions. He's taken this wealth of corporate experience and expanded upon it with his experience working with his clients in the small business world.

He enjoys leveraging his expertise to support his clients and takes delight when they can see their accounting and tax functions as value-add and not sources of headache. He educates his clients on the importance of keeping accurate financial business records and using financial information to make informed business decisions.

When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family. As an avid road cyclist, he can often be found on long bike rides in the DMV area.
